The USS Cydonia SETI@Home Project

SETI (The Search for ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence) has spent many years scanning the heavens for signs of civilizations. By analyzing radio signals, they hope to one day detect an indication that we are truly not alone in the universe. This type of project requires government funding and a whole lot of computer power. The USS Cydonia cannot grant any government funds, but we can donate computer power to the cause.

The USS Cydonia SETI@Home project is a coordinated effort on the part of our crew. By donating idle computer time (nights while sleeping and days while at work) we hope to make a significant contribution to SETI's project. Who knows? Maybe a member of the USS Cydonia will be the first to overhear ET phoning home!
